Salt de Sallent waterfall in the Vall d'en Bas

Excursion to the Vall d’en Bas where we will visit the Sallent Salt of Sant Privat d’en Bas, a spectacular waterfall of 140 vertical meters. It is a route that starts in the village of Sant Privat d’en Bas and where we will go up to the viewpoint of the waterfall along the Camí de les Escales and down the Camí dels Matxos.

The route passes through beech forests and streams on all sides. It is an excursion that can be done all year round, although the best time is autumn and spring. Autumn because there is a burst of incredible toasted colors and spring because the beeches take on a brutal vivid green color.

It is surely one of the most beautiful excursions in La Garrotxa!
