Experience of sleeping in a Refuge.

We present you the unforgettable experience of going to sleep in a high mountain refuge in the middle of winter.

This outing will cover much of the  Natural Park Ter Freser.

Day 1: We will make the excursion with snowshoes leaving the Vallter 2000 ski resort and we will go through its black pine forests until we reach the famous Coll de la Marrana. From up here we can enjoy spectacular views, to the east the Canigó, the north faces of the Gra de Fajol petit and the Gra de Fajol gran and to the west we will find the emblematic peaks of the Pic de l'Infern, Balandrau, Torreneules and its feet our goal, the Coma de Vaca Refuge where we will spend the night. From the Coll de la Marrana we will go down the whole of the Vall del Freser until we reach the Refuge nestled in a very beautiful and lonely valley.

Route: 7 km.

Elevation gain: 450 mts.

Elevation drop: 550 mts.

Day 2: We will wake up at the Coma de Vaca Refuge and after the good breakfast they will prepare for us, we will return to the Freser Valley where we will see a different perspective to the one we saw the day before.

Elevation drop: 450 mts.

• Activity duration: 5 hours per day.
• Location: Vallter 2000 (Ripollès).
• Minimum age: 14 years. (Minors must always be accompanied by an adult).
