The classical trip in the Annapurna region is the so-called Annapurna Circuit. The full circuit is only possible since the 80s, when Manang area was officially opened to visitors from foreign countries. This trip is perfect as an unforgettable experience of landscapes and cultures of Nepal. Starting in Marsyangdi valley, which divides Annapurna from the Manaslú, the landscape is made up of farmlands and dense forests in all directions. When the trek gains height, the valley gets rougher. At a point, the villages and the forest are left behind to give way to the mountains of Manang. The Thorangla pass, with its 5416 meters, represents the highest point of this trip. After, the path will merge with the Kali Gandaki river, which goes across the deepest canyon in the world.
