Hot Springs Canyon, Conflent

The Hot Springs canyon is located in Thues-Entre-Valls (France) 40 minutes from Puigcerdà. It is a unique canyon in Europe, its hot springs make us enjoy the sensations that we all seek, on the one hand the adrenaline and on the other the relaxation of the hot springs.

In the canyon we will find a first 4 meter rappel, which will help us practice, since, next we have a 12 meter rappel that will take us directly to a spectacular pool/jacuzzi with very hot water, from there we will walk a little through the river and where we will make a small slide before facing another 12 meter rappel, which will leave us in an area of very hot pools. After relaxing for a long time in these pools, we will face the last part of the canyon where we will find a slide, a small 3 meter rappel and the last and most spectacular of all, a 35 meter rappel that will take us to the end of this unique descent.

• Level: Initiation.
• Season: October to March.
• Total duration of the activity: 4 - 5 hours.
• Approach: 50 minutes.
• Descent: 2 - 3 hours.
• Return: 25 minutes.
• Location: Thuès-Entre-Valls (French Cerdagne).
• Minimum age: 11 years old (minors have to be accompanied by an adult).
• Material needed by the client: Hiking boots or sports sneakers, swimsuit, bottle of water, spare clothes and shoes.
