Gurn Canyon, Garrotxa

The Gurn Canyon it's located in Vall d’en Bas (la Garrotxa) and under the Salt de Sallent (a waterfall of 140m). The Gurn canyon is a beautiful canyon suitable for initiation / first time and/or families.

With emerald green water colour and a very beautiful environment full of nature and lots of vegetation, we will enjoy this initiation ravine, ideal for a first time canyoning. We will start with the abseiling technique (doing a 6m abseiling) and we will do some jumps and slides (maximum 3m) and siphon, all optional. It is an ideal canyon to have a first contact with the world of canyoning for all those people looking to start with an easy and beautiful canyon and enjoy nature and canyoning!

• Level: Initiation.
• Season: Abril until October.
• Total duration of the activity: 3 - 4 hours.
• Location: Sant Privat d’en Bas (La Garrotxa).
• Minimum age: 7 years old (minors have to be accompanied by an adult).
• Material needed by the client: Hiking boots or sports sneakers, swimsuit, bottle of water, spare clothes and shoes.
• Meeting time: 9:00 AM and 12:45 PM.
