Estrets del Freser Canyon, Ripollès

The Estrets del Freser canyon is located in the Freser Valley within the Natural Park of Cabeceras Ter Freser, close to the spectacular Vall de Núria, Queralbs, and Ribes de Freser, all situated in the Ripollès region of the Eastern Pyrenees.

This canyon offers an incredibly fun and dynamic experience, perfect for enjoyment.

During the descent, you will encounter an exciting 7-meter rappel down a beautiful waterfall, followed by a series of very easy and enjoyable natural slides leading to a choice between a 3-meter jump or a small 2-meter slide. Continuing downstream, there are three more optional slides, one particularly thrilling where the shape of the slide combined with the water's force makes us twist before landing in the water. Next, a short 3-meter rappel and an equipped passage lead to the option of tackling the highest jump in the canyon, an 8-meter plunge (always optional). Alternatively, for those who prefer not to jump, a very aesthetic 10-meter rappel will take us to the grand gorge below a spectacular waterfall. From here, we walk along the river until reaching a slightly more technical optional jump. After completing this jump, we approach the final section passing by Salt del Grill, a beautiful 20-meter waterfall, before facing the last jump to conclude this descent and return to the starting point.

The color of the water, unique formations, and the stunning high-mountain surroundings ensure a truly enjoyable canyoning experience.
