Canyoning activity for school groups.

Canyoning is one of the best activities to do with schools as an end-of-year activity as well as a fun/sports activity during the school year. Ideal for living a great experience with the class group, spending a morning full of adventure surrounded by nature and emotions.

It is difficult?

We have different canyons for all levels. For school groups, it is ideal to do beginner or advanced beginner canyons where everyone feels comfortable and can enjoy a unique and refreshing experience.

During the canyoning activity we find abseilings, where we will always descend safely, as well as jumps and slides. In the canyons that we offer for schools, everything will always be optional, so that no one feels pressured and everyone can enjoy their experience within their needs.

From what age?

We recommend canyoning for school groups from 5th/6th grade.

How does the activity work?

Welcome to the group. Briefing of the activity.

We will distribute the material (wetsuit, harness, helmet) to each one and make a backpack with the same wetsuit.

We will walk to the beginning of the ravine. Once we arrive, we equip ourselves with wetsuit, harness and helmet.

Briefing of how we will progress through the canyon, the different elements we will find, directions we must follow, etc.

Descent of the ravine (approx. 2h - 2.5h).

Once finished, we will return to the starting point (where the material was distributed in the morning) and where we will take off the wetsuit.

How long does it last?

It depends on the canyon but in general, between 3 - 4 hours total (from the welcome to the farewell). Ideal to do the activity in the morning.

Where is canyoning carried out?

We have different areas where we done canyoning. Preferably, Garrotxa and Ripollès. But also in Berguedà, Pyrenees, ... we have options in all Catalonia and southern France.

What is needed to do the activity?

Hiking boots or sports sneakers (which will get wet, but IMPORTANT! don't wear water shoes, sports sneakers are much better), swimsuit, bottle of water, spare clothes and shoes, towel, food for when we finish the activity .

What is the best time to do the activity?

Ideal spring and summer! But also early autumn.

The price of the activity will include VAT, Qualified Guides (technical sports in canyoning), Technical Equipment (two pieces of 5mm wetsuit, harness, helmet, carabiners, anchor heads, collective safety equipment), Insurance RC/Accidents, Photo Reportage (non-professional).
