Canals Canyon, Garrotxa

It is located in Sadernes, inside the Space of Natural Interest of Alta Garrotxa (La Garrotxa), Canals or Comella Canyon is an amazing advanced level canyon with turquoise blue water colour. It passes between huge limestone walls where beautiful rock formations can be observed. We will find several jumps, slides and abseiling descents. A good condition is needed because there is a 3 hours walk to reach the start of the canyon and a 2 hours return walk to the car park unless we do it in 4x4, then everything is reduced to 2 hours of 4x4 route.

• Level: Advanced.
• Season: April until October.
• Total duration of the activity: 5 - 6 hours + 2 hours of 4x4 route.
• Approach: 5 minutes.
• Descent: 3 - 4 hours.
• Return: 40 minutes.
• Location: Sadernes (La Garrotxa).
• Minimum age: 16 years old (minors have to be accompanied by an adult).
• Material needed by the client: Hiking boots or sports sneakers, swimsuit, bottle of water, spare clothes and shoes.
