Baumes Corcades Via Ferrata, Osona

Via Ferrata Baumes Corcades or Via Ferrata of Centelles is located in Centelles (Osona) in the Puigsagordi hill. It has northern views towards the Oriental Pyrenees and Guilleries-Collsacabra, in front we see the Montseny massif and the whole plain of Vic and towards the south we enjoy the Bertí Cliffs.

Via Ferrata Baumes Corcades is very well equipped and consists of different sections: a vertical section where you climb to the top of Quicarell, a 69m Nepalese bridge that will test us (the bridge is optional), a large flank through the small cavities named Baumes Corcades and finally a series of very athletic stretches with overhang (also optional).

It is a via ferrata for those with some experience and for beginners who want to do a more demanding activity, as the activity requires strength and endurance. However, the most difficult sections are optional.

The Via Ferrada of Centelles is a 10 minute drive from Vic and a 45 minute drive from Barcelona. It can be reached by train (Renfe R3), although from the train station to the via ferrata we will have 45 min on foot. The Via Ferrada of les Baumes Corcades is one of the closest via ferrata to Barcelona.
