Route at the top of Ferran, Alta Garrotxa

We will go deep into Natural Interest Space of Alta Garrotxa, a land which honors its name. We will find remnants of the past life and its previous inhabitants. Today it is an uninhabited land full of small Romanesque chapels in unimaginable corners. The singularity of this place is all these many places to discover and, above all, its loneliness and isolation, something very uncommon nowadays. Alta Garrotxa has a very special charm difficult to describe … it has to be experienced.

The return that we will make begins in Oix and we will go around the top of Ferran, which gives its name to a very famous crest of La Garrotxa. During this route we will pass through Romanesque hermitages, abandoned houses and through the uninhabited town of Talaixà where we will realize that about 50 years ago there was a lot of life in very remote places that right now it would seem impossible to live.
